REVEALED! BOBA FETT LEADS LINE-UP OF ICCC 2022 EXCLUSIVE ‘THE MANDALORIAN’ CUSTOM ACTION FIGURE WAVE

Fans have been waiting with bated breath for details on the ICCC 2022 exclusive action figure wave based on “The Mandalorian” TV series on Disney+. Planned and plotted by D2C Studios’ Matt Brookins and ICCC showrunner Michael Havens, details are beginning to emerge. Brookins latest update is epic:

“Boba Fett! Everybody loves the Fett man.

“I think we were all super excited with anticipation when we heard the spurs and saw feet walking towards a (seemingly) fatally injured Fennec in season one of the Mandalorian. And of course, most of us couldn’t contain ourselves when he showed up on screen in season two. (Now he gets his own show!)

“Seeing him in action in season 2, I immediately knew I needed to make him! He appears with some subtle, and often more obvious, changes to his costume throughout the season. I just needed to decide which look I wanted to go for. Here is a picture of the donor figures that make up what the final will be (not pictured, Hoth Han).

“When I first made him (months ago), I had not seen anyone else customize him yet. Of course, lots of people have now done great custom versions of him (as I’d expect), and Hasbro is even giving us a Retro Collection version.

“Where I think my figure is different, is that I tried very hard to keep it as vintage as possible. I’ve seen some amazing Fett customs from others, and the Hasbro one is also very cool. However, none of these quite hit me as a figure that makes me stop and think, “that could have come out in 1980!” So that was my goal.”

Fett and the three other yet-to-be-revealed custom action figures will be available in limited quantities during all three days of ICCC 2022, April 29-May 1, at the Sheraton Music City resort in Nashville, TN. Each day will feature different packaging. Tickets are on sale now. #ICCCon
