ACCOMPLISHED ‘DAREDEVIL’ ACTOR ROYCE JOHNSON JOINS ICCC 2023 GUEST STAR LINEUP

If you’re a fan of “Daredevil” and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you’re going to want to meet our latest addition to the 2023 guest star lineup: Royce J. Johnson!

Johnson, an accomplished actor, screenwriter, and filmmaker, has garnered critical acclaim for his compelling performances as Sgt./Detective Sergeant Brett Mahoney in the Netflix series Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and The Punisher. 

He discovered his passion for acting at an early age. His breakthrough came when he was cast as Sgt. Brett Mahoney, in Daredevil. His portrayal of the gritty sergeant brought a refreshing depth and authenticity to the character. With his commanding presence and unwavering determination to uphold justice, Johnson's performance resonated with audiences and critics alike. His chemistry with the show's ensemble cast, particularly Charlie Cox's Daredevil, added another layer of complexity to the narrative.

He continued to portray Sgt. Mahoney in the companion series Jessica Jones and The Punisher. Throughout these interconnected shows, Johnson showcased his ability to seamlessly navigate between different storytelling styles and genres.

Beyond his involvement in the MCU, Johnson has been involved in various other film and television projects in acclaimed TV shows like Law & Order, Person of Interest, and The Blacklist. He has also written and directed several short films, showcasing his passion for storytelling from behind the camera.
