‘INTERNATIONAL TREATMENT’ ON DECK FOR ICCC 2022 EXCLUSIVE ACTION FIGURES

In this update D2C Studios’ Matt Brookins provides new details on the packaging for the ICCC 2022 exclusive action figures, and this time it comes with an international twist! Brookins and ICCC showrunner Michael Havens announced a wave of ICCC 2022 convention exclusive custom action figures based on “The Mandalorian” TV series on Disney+ last October. Lots of updates have been released since then. This time, Brookins reports:

“I’ve always been fascinated by many of the non-US versions of the vintage Star Wars products. There are some very cool variations of both packaging and figures. Some of them are a bit more unique than others. One of the most interesting to me, mainly because I didn’t know about it until I was an adult, are the Popy boxes from Japan.

“This year I added the Popy as a third packaging style with the MOC and large style boxes from last year. There will be a different set of exclusives each day corresponding to each type of packaging.”

Luke Jedi, Boba Fett, and the two other yet-to-be-revealed custom action figures will be available in limited quantities, and with different packaging, during all three days of ICCC 2022, April 29-May 1, at the Sheraton Music City resort in Nashville, TN.
