Kenner Manager of Sculpting brings his creative talents to ICCC 2026!

For the first time ever Bob Moore will be meeting his fans! He is a veteran toy sculptor and sculptor-director whose work helped bring some of the most iconic Star Wars collectibles of the 1980s to life.

With an MFA in Sculpture from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a BFA in Sculpture from Fort Wayne Art Institute, Bob joined Kenner Products (later Hasbro) in 1981 as Manager of Sculpting. Over his 14 years there, he oversaw in-house sculptors, directed outside sculpting teams, and played a key hands-on role in 3-D product development for major lines including Star Wars, Strawberry Shortcake, M.A.S.K., Ghostbusters, and more.

His Star Wars contributions include sculpting and reworking work on classic pieces such as the 1983 Princess Leia Organa figure, the 1985 Han Solo in Carbonite Chamber, and the EV-9D9 droid and Sy Snoodles. He also handled rework on multiple Power of the Force coins and personally designed the Yak Face (Bounty Hunter) collector’s coin — a rare and sought-after piece from the 1985 line.

After Kenner, Bob served as Director of Sculpting at Warner Bros. Toys (1995–1999), where he contributed to lines like Space Jam and Looney Tunes, before becoming Director of Sculpting at N2TOYS, overseeing major product lines including Matrix, Frazetta, Hardened Collectibles, Crocodile Hunter, and The Tick.

A true craftsman of the golden age of action figures, Bob’s detailed sculpting work helped turn George Lucas’s galaxy far, far away into tangible, pocket-sized adventures that still captivate collectors today. Fans at the convention will have a rare chance to meet one of the unsung heroes behind the vintage Kenner Star Wars legacy.
