ICCC WELCOMES ‘SANDTROOPER’ ANTHONY FORREST AS 2024 GUEST STAR

ICCC is pleased to announce that actor Anthony Forrest will join us all this October as a guest star! He is best known for his role as the Sandtrooper in Star Wars: A New Hope, a character that has become iconic thanks to the famous roadblock when Luke and Ben arrived at Mos Eisley. This brief yet memorable scene has cemented Forrest’s place in Star Wars history. As we “Move along, move along” with his roles he also portrayed Fixer, Luke Skywalker's friend, in some deleted scenes add another layer to his Star Wars legacy.

In addition to his work in Star Wars, he has appeared in several other action-based roles, including the James Bond franchise. Her also is an accomplished music producer who, in the 1980s, played a crucial role at RCA Records in the development and success of several new wave and synth pop bands, showcasing his diverse talents and passion for the arts.

His notable works include:

• Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977): Portrayed a Sandtrooper famously known for the "These aren't the droids you're looking for" scene. Forrest also played the character Fixer in a deleted scene.

• The Spy Who Loved Me (1977): Appeared in this classic James Bond film, further showcasing his versatility as an actor.

• The Protectors (1972-1974): Played various roles in this British television series.

• Return of the Saint (1978-1979): Made guest appearances in this popular adventure series.
