TIM EFFLER, CELEBRATED TOY INDUStry DEVELOPER, TO MEET COLLECTORS AT ICCC 2024

At ICCC, our core value is to produce a show for collectors, by collectors. And that promise would not be complete without the likes of our influential guests like Tim Effler: A pivotal figure in the toy industry whose work has shaped beloved toys from the '80s and '90s.

With over 40 years in the creative development business, Effler is currently writing a book about his contributions to Kenner’s Star Wars toy line. As the Director of Advanced Concepts at Hasbro, he played a crucial role in developing successful lines including Star Wars, Batman, Ghostbusters, and the Jurassic Park logo and toy lines.

Effler co-founded SOEDA, Inc., a creative consulting company, where he worked for 13 years. His clients included major industry players like Hasbro, Mattel, Fisher-Price, DreamWorks, Universal Studios, Fox Entertainment, and Sony Pictures. His work on Zizzle’s Pirates of the Caribbean toy line earned a T.O.T.Y award in 2007.

Effler holds a BS in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati, where he also taught an Introduction to Design class. He pursued post-graduate studies in Illustration at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Based in Atlanta, he continues to consult for select clients and frequently speaks at schools and conventions about toy design.
We are excited to have Effler join us as part of our toy industry legends lineup!

ICCC 2024 will be held October 3-6 at the Music City Sheraton in Nashville, Tennessee. VIP ticket holders will enjoy early entry (one hour) before the general public for the run of show.
