ICCC WELCOMES PAUL BLAKE, THE ACTOR WHO BROUGHT GREEDO TO LIFE IN 1977

In the vast galaxy of Star Wars lore, few characters have sparked as much intrigue and debate as Greedo, the ill-fated bounty hunter who met his end at the hands of Han Solo in the iconic 1977 film. While Greedo's screen time may have been brief, the actor who portrayed him, Paul Blake, has left a lasting impression on fans and the film industry alike.

We are pleased to announce that Blake will appear at ICCC 2024 to meet fans, sign autographs, take photos with devotees, and share his stories and insights about his role in creating Star Wars magic.

"Being a part of Star Wars is like being part of a family,” Blake said recently. “The fans are incredible, and their passion keeps the spirit of the saga alive.”

Blake has remained active within the Star Wars community. His engagement with fans has allowed him to share his experiences and insights, enriching the Star Wars legacy and keeping the spirit of Greedo alive.

Blake, an accomplished actor, brought a unique presence to the role of Greedo. His early career was marked by a series of stage performances and television appearances, showcasing his versatility and dedication to the art of acting. His talents soon caught the attention of casting directors, leading to his unforgettable role in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. Despite the character's untimely demise, Blake's portrayal of Greedo became a beloved part of the Star Wars universe, cementing his place in pop culture history.

Beyond Star Wars, Blake's filmography includes a diverse array of roles in both film and television. His credits span various genres, including roles in "Some of My Best Friends Are..." (1971), where he played Jerry, and the British crime drama "Hennessy" (1975), in which he portrayed a young reporter.

We are honored that Blake will join us this October.
