ICCC WELCOMES MARY ELIZABETH MCGLYNN, LEGENDARY VOICE IN ANIMATION AND GAMING, AS 2023 GUEST STAR

We are pleased to announce that Mary Elizabeth McGlynn -- a name that resonates with excellence in the world of voice acting -- will join ICCC 2023’s guest star lineup to meet fans, sign autographs and share her longtime experiences in the world of animation and gaming.

Her career began as a voice director for Anime dubs, with notable projects such as Cowboy Bebop, Digimon Tamers, Wolf's Rain, Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, Stitch!, and Glitter Force under her belt. Her keen ear for directing voices and bringing characters to life through vocal performances earned her a reputation for excellence, and she quickly rose to prominence in the Anime community.

Her talents as a voice director extended beyond Anime, as she went on to work as a dialogue director for original animation. Her work on Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure earned her an Emmy nomination, showcasing her ability to bring depth and emotion to animated characters through voice acting. Currently, she is lending her voice directing skills to projects such as The Legend of Vox Machina for Amazon Prime, Bugs Bunny Builders for Warner Bros., and Dreamworks Dragons: Nine Realms, further cementing her reputation as a sought-after voice director in the industry. Her work on GLAAD award-winning She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Saturn Award-winning Star Wars Resistance for Disney/Lucasfilm, Lego Star Wars Holiday Special, Summer Vacation and Terrifying Tales, Doug Unplugs, and Dragons: Rescue Riders for Dreamworks, as well as Unikitty, Bunnicula, Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, and co-director for Green Eggs and Ham for Warner Bros., showcase her versatility and talent as a director.

Currently, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn continues to captivate audiences with her performances in numerous projects. She portrays Zahra in The Legend of Vox Machina, Coach Brunt in Carmen Sandiego, Freya Fenris and 4D-MIN for Star Wars Resistance, Cetrion in Mortal Kombat 11, Dynamite Watkins in OKKO, and Connie's Mom in Steven Universe, among many others. Her vocal talents have also been featured in projects such as Star Wars Rebels, Lego Marvel's Avengers, StarCraft II, Persona 4, Tekken, Resident Evil, and Sailor Moon Crystal, among others. Her ability to bring depth, emotion, and authenticity to a wide range of characters has made her an invaluable asset to the entertainment industry.
