ACTOR JULIAN GLOVER OF ‘GENERAL VEERS,’ ‘GRAND MAESTER PYCELLE’ FAME TO APPEAR AT ICCC 2022

With a career spanning more than 60 years, Julian Glover has lent his acting talent to nearly 200 productions in film, television, and on stage. One of his most well-known roles was as General Maximilian Veers in “Star Wars, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back” in which — while at the helm of an AT-AT walker — he uttered the iconic lines: “My lord, I've reached the main power generator. The shield will be down in moments, you may start your landing.”

His other notable roles include Aristotle Kristatos in “For Your Eyes Only,” Brian Harcourt-Smith in “The Fourth Protocol,” and Walter Donovan in “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.” More recently he portrayed Grand Maester Pycelle in HBO's “Game of Thrones,” and voiced the giant spider Aragog in “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.”

Glover has also appeared frequently on television, especially in Britain, including guest appearances in cult series such as The Avengers, The Saint, Thriller, Doctor Who, Blake's 7, and Remington Steele. He is a recipient of the Laurence Olivier Award and has performed many times for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

We are pleased to welcome Glover to the ICCC 2022 guest star lineup! ICCC 2022 will be held April 29-May 1, at the Sheraton Music City resort in Nashville, TN. Tickets are on sale now.
