The scenes in Jabba the Hutt’s palace would not be the same without the sinister, yet comical cackle of the Kowakian monkey-lizard Salacious Crumb. Now, fans can meet accomplished voice actor Mark Dodson, who minted Crumb as a Star Wars superstar and voiced many other characters you know and love.

Voicing Crumb in “Star Wars VI – Return of the Jedi” was Dodson’s first credited gig. But in the nearly 4 decades since he has been working hard in film, TV and videogames. He provided the voice for Mogwai in “Gremlins” and “Gremlins II: The New Batch,” and several zombies in “Day of the Dead.” More recently he has worked heavily in videogame voice acting, appearing in Star Trek Online, Neverwinter, Dragon Front and Ghostrunner. He even provided voice acting for Niima scavengers and other characters in “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.”
