‘EMPEROR’ IAN MCDIARMID RETURNS TO ICCC 2023 DUE TO MASSIVE FAN DEMAND

The presence of The Dark Side permeated the halls of last year’s ICCC, drawing fans and devotees from around the world. And its pull was so great that its physical embodiment -- the legendary actor Ian McDiarmid -- will return in 2023 to once again meet those who seek him.

McDiarmid portrayed Star Wars’ “Phantom Menace” Emperor Palpatine for more than four decades. Most recently, McDiarmid reprised the role in 2022’s “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” and in a recent episode of “The Bad Batch,” both on Disney+. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to get a photo, autograph, and/or selfie with the Emperor himself, and enjoy all the other features ICCCon has to offer.

While he is most famous for his chilling portrayal of Emperor Palpatine in all three Star Wars trilogies, McDiarmid has a highly successful career as a theatre director. He was awarded the 2001 London Critics Circle Theatre Award for Best Actor for his performance in "Faith Healer" at the Almeida at King's Cross.

We are elated to have McDiarmid return for our 2023 lineup! Keep watch at icNashville.com, and the ICCC’s Facebook page for updates. And make sure you bookmark, like, and follow our social media sites, and subscribe to our YouTube channel to ensure you don’t miss any important ICCCon news and announcements.

ICCC 2023 will be held May 26-28, 2023 at the new Farm Bureau Exposition Center in Lebanon, TN, just outside of Nashville. Tickets are on sale now. Book a room at our host hotels before they sell out. #ICCCon
