ICCC 2022 EXCLUSIVE: 'EMPEROR' IAN MCDIARMID CONFIRMED AS GUEST STAR; ‘EVERYTHING IS PROCEEDING AS WE HAVE FORSEEN’
With the dust barely settled on 2021, #ICCCon already has exciting 2022 news: Ian McDiarmid, who portrayed Star Wars’ “phantom menace” Emperor Palpatine for more than four decades, has been confirmed as the first guest star for ICCC 2022.
You will not want to miss this opportunity to get a photo, autograph and/or selfie with the Emperor himself, and enjoy all the other features ICCCon has to offer.
While he is most famous for his chilling portrayal of Emperor Palpatine in all three Star Wars trilogies, McDiarmid has a highly successful career as a theatre director. He was also awarded the 2001 London Critics Circle Theatre Award for Best Actor for his performance in "Faith Healer" at the Almeida at King's Cross.
We are elated to have McDiarmid start our 2022 lineup! Keep watch at icNashville.com, and the ICCC’s Facebook page for updates.
