Tom Bancroft has over 25 years of experience in the animation industry, much of which was for Walt Disney Feature animation where he was an animator on 4 animated shorts and 8 feature films of which “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Lion King,” “Aladdin”, “Pocahontas”, “Mulan”, and “Brother Bear” were part of the list. He has been nominated for Annie and Rueben division awards, spoken at the Kennedy Center and awarded an entry into the Chicago Children’s Film Festival.Bancroft left Disney in 2000 to follow his heart and help Big Idea Productions, creators of the popular “VeggieTales” animated series, create their first feature film, “Jonah: A Veggietales Movie”. While there he also Directed/ co-created the popular 2D animated video series “Larryboy Adventures”.

All total, Bancroft has 8 Episodic Animated TV/DVD shows he has directed for Big Idea and Christian Broadcasting Networks.

His popular character design instruction books, “Creating Characters with Personality” and “Character Mentor” have become the most recognized books on designing characters for animation, video games, comic books, and cartooning and are required textbooks at many art schools around the world. Because of the popularity of these books, Bancroft has been hired to design hundreds of characters for Film, TV, and video game productions as well as speak at art schools and animation studios around the country as well as in Italy, Canada, and Costa Rica.

Additionally, Bancroft has illustrated over 50 children’s books, is creator and President of the art instruction website, co-creator of a daily sketching prompt app (SketchBite), co-host of the most popular Animation podcast on iTunes (“The Bancroft Brothers Animation Podcast”), and is Artist in Residence for the Animation undergraduate program he developed for Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, where he lives with his family.

John Pomeroy is an animator legend who has worked on many loved feature films such as Pete’s Dragon, The Secret of NIMH, The Land Before Time, Pocahontas, Fantasia 2000, Atlantis The Lost Empire and Many More! John worked on popular video games like dragon’s Lair and and Space Ace! He also produced An American Tale, The Land Before Time and All Dogs Go to Heaven! Along with his love of Animation he is a sculptor, oil painter, storyboard artist, lecturer, and college professor!

Tim Hodge is an American voice actor, story artist, writer, animator, comedian, and director at Big Idea Entertainment where he has works on the VeggieTales videos as well as other animated projects like 3-2-1 Penguins! At #iccc2018 you can find Him Between the Green and Orange Section!

He joined the Walt Disney Feature Animation studio located at the Disney/MGM Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida. While at Disney, he worked as story artist on films like Mulan, John Henry for Disney’s American Legends video and Brother Bear.

It was in 2000 that he took his family and moved north to Chicago, Illinois to join the studios of Big Idea Productions at the Yorktown Center mall and started working in computer animation. Hodge’s directorial debut at Big Idea, Lyle the Kindly Viking, won the Best Direct To Video Animated Release at the 2001 World Animation Celebration. He was nominated for an Annie Award for Best Vocal Performance in 2003 for his role as Khalil in Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie.

Scott Christian Sava – If you don’t know his work you must go look – work has brought some of the world’s most beloved characters to life through film, television, comics, and games. In 2000 he founded Blue Dream Studios, which has produced work for Star Wars, X-Files, Aliens vs. Predator, Spider-Man, and other franchises, in addition to creating its own original content. The studio’s first feature film, Animal Crackers, is now in full production.

Brent Scotchmer – Born in ’83 Brent had some of the best childhood artistic experiences. With cartoons on TV like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Real Ghostbusters, and Master of the universe, Topps trading cards, and the amazing cover art for some of the 80’s & 90’s video game cover art for reference he honed his art skills, he was definitely a child of the action figure, video game, and bubble gum card era.After High School, music took over and he traded art and collecting to pick up guitar, and had minor experiences playing live and recording original music in 2002, everything took a back seat to starting a family and starting a handful of businesses, of which Glass Surface Coatings became the most rewarding. At the end of 2016, whilst on End of Year break, he took some drawing tools onto a cruise ship, and spent increasingly more time trying to get back some of the drawing skills he had previously left behind, and in April of 2017 his work was noticed by a well known UK illustrator, who passed his info onto the Art Director at Topps, and he hasn’t looked back.

Jim Mehsling is a Lucasfilm artist currently doing Sketch Cards and Base Cards for Topps. He won Best Animation from Lucasfilm for ‘Bounty Hunter The Interview’ and is now a member of the 501st as an Artist. Check out some of his amazing work: Instagram:

Kevin B. Cleveland is a Lucas Film Limited, Topps, AMC artist a lifelong artist with a very diverse skill set (B&W/Color portraits, comic art, cartoon art, photo realism, etc) Check out some of his amazing work here:

Guy Gilchrist will always be known as “Jim Henson’s Cartoonist”, having created “The Muppets” comic strip (KFS) for newspapers around the world 1981-86, and having a leading role in Jim’s creative team on Muppet Babies, Fraggle Rock and Other Henson creations.

He also headed publishing and or Licensing for TMNT, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons, Pink Panther, and Disney. And the author of 50+ children’s books, two time Silver Reuben Award winner (NCS) and his Muppets work permanently enshrined in the Smithsonian in 1984. For 23 years, he also wrote and drew the Nancy comic strip (UFS)(Universal)

By the power of Grayskull, Robert Lamb has the power!

Back in the ’80s, cartoons were kings on the TV dial and Filmation created many memorable animated TV shows, including the very popular He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Robert Lamb worked for the animation studio during its heyday as a storyboard artist (and later as a writer, as well as Storyboard Production Coordinator) and worked on many of the company’s programs. Robert Lamb is known for his work on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, She-Ra: Princess of Power, BraveStarr, Darkwing Duck.

Billy Martinez was raised with a daily dose of comic books and Sunday funnies that friends and family supplied him with all through his years as a youngling. He began his professional career at the age of 20 to supply pages for The Rockin’ Roller Miner Ants a titled that featured guest appearances by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Soon after in the fall of 1993 Billy was signed on to create and draw his cult classic tale, which is known as Wildflower.

With the success of his flagship title, Billy decided to branch off and create freelance work for companies such as Peregrine Entertainment, Heavy Metal Magazine and Image Comics. 1997 marked the year he created his publishing company Neko Press and introduced some of the best esoteric comic book titles by top notch artists and writers in the industry. He later became a regular artist for Heavy Metal Magazine and was hired to do work on The Family Guy and Hellboy trading cards for Inkworks.

Billy has released over 45 titles under the Neko Press imprint.

Summer of 1998 began Billy’s live art career which later opened many doors into the fine art world. Good friend and professional artist Jim Mahfood convinced Billy to bring his art live on stage, which consisted of painting 4 to 6 paintings simultaneously with music. What started out on the streets of downtown San Diego later began to catch on into such clubs as The Honey Beehive and the Hard Rock Hotel and the top San Diego hot spot The Stingaree NightClub. Shawn Lamb is a multi-award-winning scriptwriter and fantasy author. She began her career in the 1980s writing for Filmation’s “BraveStarr”. She went on to create the epic fantasy series “Allon”. Together, she and husband Rob Lamb, attend events across the country engaging fans with tales of classic animation and storytelling.
